So I speak in general terms. Not everyone who is on the long side is a whiner, but after yesterday's late afternoon drop, the whining started. If you haven't already seen this gem, enjoy it. http://www.cnbc.com/id/15840232?video=452808336. If this is the guy looking out for the small investor, this is all the more reason to go it alone. Don't get me wrong, I think the guy has a lot of good general advice, but he's far too emotional to be taken seriously. This is not a place where making phone calls to the fed chairman because things don't go your way is a strategy.
Usually you can count on the bears for irrational pessimism. They're always calling for a crash. The market had one of it's best Jan-Aug starts in many years and is still up 5% for the year, yet the bulls whine. Come on bulls, don't start the bear style of whining when the market doesn't go your way every day. You're up and still playing with house money so lighten up.
