The rejection of massive new spending to bail out irresponsibility is a breath of fresh air.

This is a good thing, but I'm skeptical that it's actually going to be the end of the rope for this legislation. There is a lot politcally at stake, so it's not done. it certainly feels good for the little responsible guy at the moment.
